WHO WE ARE
Areley Kings WI is a really lovely, small group of very friendly and chatty women. Together we enjoy talks, crafts, outings and more, and the added bonus of convenient afternoon meetings.​
​
WHAT WE LOVE
With our village expanding rapidly, Areley Kings WI is extremely welcoming to new members, especially those who have just moved into the area. We get together on the second Monday afternoons of each month at the excellent Areley Kings Village Hall, where we enjoy talks and demonstrations on a wide range of subjects (the historical ones being especially popular!), get creative with different crafts or enjoy a games afternoon… always accompanied by tea, cake and socialising. In the past year we’ve planted a memorial tree, entered craft shows and tried Thai Chi. We also organise an annual outing, the latest being a nostalgic steam train ride to Cheltenham. Added to our summer garden party, Christmas party and New Year lunch, there’s lots to look forward to all year round.​

A friendly and thriving WI group, always keen to welcome new members.​

WHAT WE LOVE
As a member of our WI you’ll be able to enjoy convenient monthly meetings, where we get together for a cuppa and a catch-up before hearing expert speakers on a wide range of interesting topics, or try our hand at unusual activities. We organise regular outings to local places of interest, or sometimes meet up for a coffee or meal out. We’re also proud to get involved in local community events, as well as supporting causes close to our hearts. Those who love reading, crafting or have other special interests can also take part in our popular sub-groups.​
