WHO WE ARE
Ashton under Hill is an active, welcoming and interesting mid-sized WI based in a beautiful village on the edge of Bredon Hill.

WHAT WE LOVE
One of the key things about Ashton under Hill WI is that we’re very community spirited! Our 30-40 members of all ages look after and support each other, as well as residents of our village. We also love taking an active role in village activities, such as the annual local Open Gardens, fêtes and more. Our monthly meetings often include expert talks on a wide range of topics, from flowers, animals and local charities to historical themes. But some of the most popular are our purely social gatherings, such as our annual ‘garden meeting’ and Christmas celebration. Several very active sub-groups are available too, including walking, books, a coffee club and a craft club. We also enjoy numerous other activities, workshops and outings across the year. Highlights have included Christmas wreath making, a fused glass workshop, theatre and cinema trips, and visits to National Trust properties and other local places of interest such as Witley Court, Packwood House and Baddesley Clinton.

WHO WE ARE
Childswickham WI is a small, traditional WI group founded in 1928. We’ve got lots to offer and are always pleased to welcome new members.

WHAT WE LOVE
With an almost 100-year history at the heart of our beautiful Cotswolds village, our WI attracts members from Childswickham, Broadway and surrounds. Our small group includes a mix of ages and together we enjoy an eclectic range of activities. Every month we meet in our charming Memorial Hall (evenings in summertime; afternoons in winter), where a variety of speakers entertain us with talks on topics as diverse as gems, tomato growing and the ‘great train robbery’. Of course, there is always time for coffee and a catch-up too! We also get together for outings, hobby time and supporting local community events.

WHY JOIN US
Being a member of Childswickham WI opens up so many avenues for enjoyment, learning and friendship, and our meetings are conveniently timed to suit the season. Do come along and discover us for yourself!
