WHO WE ARE

Badsey Belles WI is a vibrant, caring and ambitious WI. We’re also quite new, launched in 2024 (continuing the previous village WI’s illustrious 97-year history). Our brand new look and programme has already attracted a huge number of new members from Badsey and surrounds – and we’d love to meet you too!​

WHAT WE LOVE

Badsey Belles WI members come from all walks of life, currently ranging from our 20s to our 80s, but we all have a passion for our local community. At our monthly meetings we enjoy a diverse and fun programme of talks, demonstrations and workshops – with topics so far ranging from crafting, to learning about our environment and mastering new skills such as yoga and makaton signing. Of course, there’s always time to socialise over tea and biscuits. We also love to support events within our community, such as a women’s walk around the village to celebrate International Women’s Day, and collecting donations for a local foodbank. Our highlight so far would be creating our festive table centrepieces, but watch this space, we are just getting started!​
