WHO WE ARE

Bewdley WI began with keenness and enthusiasm in 2014, and our motto remains ‘Fun and Friendship’. Our 40-strong group still includes lots of original founder members, and we always welcome visitors and new recruits. All of our members get involved, share their versatile experience and contribute to all we plan and achieve!

WHAT WE LOVE

We all enjoy a really varied programme of activities and events, full details of which are listed on our dedicated website (below). Recent monthly meetings have included speakers on topics from fashion to travel; a wine-tasting evening; and a fundraising auction.  Whatever your interests, we also probably have a sub-group to appeal, from our book group and walking group to gardening, bridge, art, craft and mahjong – not to mention outings and occasional theatre trips. To celebrate our 10th anniversary in 2024, extra activities included an outing to Wells, a theatre visit, a garden party and a special afternoon tea… including a bag of goodies for every member and the unveiling of a banner made by our craft group.  

WHY JOIN US

Our group is large enough to run events and interest groups, yet small enough to know everybody well. Age is irrelevant, but fun is a must! If you’re interested and would like to try before you decide to join, do come along to any meeting as a guest!
