WHO WE ARE
Fairfield and Catshill WI is an enthusiastic group of mixed ages, meeting at a beautiful, well-managed village hall. We pride ourselves on being friendly and welcoming – and we’re always seeking new members, particularly younger ones. Formed in 2025 from the merger of Fairfield WI and Catshill WI, we’re delighted to be an active and growing group!​

WHAT WE LOVE
We always ensure there is plenty to enjoy throughout the year… not to mention a raffle and lovely ‘cuppa and cake’ at every meeting! We all receive a pocket-sized programme annually, plus a personal, emailed ‘diary of events’ monthly (or a hard copy for those not on-line). One of our most popular events is our Annual Produce Show in August, with members and non-members invited to enter a wide range of classes, judged by WI and local horticultural experts – always a great success! There is a much-loved book club, and we can enjoy several outings throughout the year. We’ve also been supporting a local charity, with members donating items to a food bank at each meeting.​

WHY JOIN US
As well as Fairfield and Catshill WI’s many activities and opportunities, you’ll make firm new friends. We all look after each other, so if a member is unwell or struggling, they can feel assured of support in whatever way is appropriate. It’s a special bond for which we receive many expressions of thanks.

A friendly and thriving WI group, always keen to welcome new members.​

WHAT WE LOVE
As a member of our WI you’ll be able to enjoy convenient monthly meetings, where we get together for a cuppa and a catch-up before hearing expert speakers on a wide range of interesting topics, or try our hand at unusual activities. We organise regular outings to local places of interest, or sometimes meet up for a coffee or meal out. We’re also proud to get involved in local community events, as well as supporting causes close to our hearts. Those who love reading, crafting or have other special interests can also take part in our popular sub-groups.​
