WHO WE ARE

Here at Crowle WI we are a friendly, inclusive medium-sized group of around 40 members. We’d love you to join us!

WHAT WE LOVE

Crowle WI meets monthly in a beautiful, well-maintained village hall in our lovely village. Our meetings combine the chance to get together and catch up over a cuppa, with the opportunity to learn from an expert speaker or demonstrator. We also enjoy crafting of all kinds, poetry evenings and the occasional Scrabble tournament! There are also regular visits to places of interest, such as open gardens and, recently, a fascinating trip to the Royal Mint.

WHY JOIN US

Joining Crowle WI guarantees friendship and interest, all year round, on your doorstep. Why not pop in and try it for yourself?

WHO WE ARE

An open, friendly group of around 30 women whose ages span six decades, Fernhill Heath WI offers a huge range of enjoyable activities, always in interesting company.

WHAT WE LOVE

Our monthly meetings with regular expert speakers, demonstrations, a cuppa, cake and a good natter are always a highlight… but only one part of the Fernhill Heath WI story. Many of us have special interests, so there’s a good choice of sub-groups to take part in… including book, film, craft, walking, badminton and pickleball clubs. New lunch and games clubs are also coming soon. We have a skittles team which competes in the WI league, and our members include some particularly talented crafters and quizzers! We’ve recently hosted garden parties and pudding evenings, visited Worcester Community Garden and entered the annual WI craft competition. At our December meeting (which we always try to make special) we enjoyed a ‘mocktail and canape evening’ complete with musical entertainment. Our group also has a strong sense of community, supporting events such as our village fayre and causes including the Worcester Foodbank.

WHY JOIN US

If you love doing new things, making friends and being part of the community, Fernhill Heath WI could be just your cup of tea. Find out more from our dedicated web and Facebook pages. New members are always welcome!
