WHO WE ARE
Welcome to Foley WI! We’re a long-established (40 years) afternoon WI, located in a residential area of Kidderminster. We still have some of our founding members, plus lots of newer ones – so we must be doing something right!

WHAT WE LOVE
We’re a friendly group and always welcome new faces. You’ll find our monthly meetings are informal and relaxed, with a varied programme of speakers… recent examples being safety at home, owls, hearing dogs for deaf people, British gemstones, floral art and armchair exercises. Of course, there’s always time for a friendly chat over tea, coffee and cake too. We also often get out and about together. Our members have the opportunity to visit theatres, enjoy meals out, skittles evenings and the occasional ramble in the local Worcestershire countryside.

WHO WE ARE
Franche WI is a small and very welcoming group combining social, entertainment and community activities on the northern edge of Kidderminster.​

WHAT WE LOVE
As we’re a smaller group than some, each of us loves having a say in what we do each year, as well as enjoying the wider benefits of WI membership. The wide range of expert talks ur monthly meetings we often have an expert speaker on a wide range of interesting topics suggested by our members. Recent talks have included the Air Ambulance and the history of nearby Harvington Hall… always accompanied by tea, cake and a chance to chat! Over the years we’ve enjoyed Christmas sing-alongs, quiz evenings and harvest suppers. We also incorporate activities such as crafts, skittles and theatre trips into our annual programme. Dancing with a Steam Punk group was a particular highlight!​
