WHO WE ARE
Frankley WI is a small and friendly WI on the south Birmingham / Worcestershire border. Most of us are of retirement age - and we are always looking for more members of all ages to join us.

WHAT WE LOVE
Frankley WI’s highlights of the past year epitomise our enjoyable activity programme… from a murder-mystery evening and circus-themed Christmas Party, to our amusing ‘who am I’ evening or fast-and-furious beetle drives. At our monthly meetings we’ve enjoyed talks on local history, gardening, flower arranging and crafting. We’ve held ‘get to know you’ social sessions alongside games and quizzes. Delicious chocolate, cheese and non-alcoholic wine tasting sessions have informed our palates. And performing artists have entertained us at our birthday and Christmas parties. Thanks to the varied skills within our membership, you can also take your pick from our well-attended special interest groups – whether making saleable items in our craft club, bowling for our enthusiastic skittles team, or creating beautiful arrangements with the combined St Leonards Church and Frankley WI flower arranging group. All of this is coordinated by our small, passionate committee, who also keep us updated with all-round WI news.

WHY JOIN US
With so many long-standing Frankley WI members, firm friendships have been formed… but rather than being cliquey, we make sure this means we’re great at welcoming new members! Come along and you’ll be buddied up with an experienced member, so you feel at home and can get to know everyone. We can’t wait to meet you.
