WHO WE ARE

Hartlebury WI is a thriving group of lively ladies aged between 30 and 90 years! Established in 1921, we’ve celebrated more than 100 enjoyable years of being at the heart of Hartlebury life.

WHAT WE LOVE

Currently we have 49 friendly and very welcoming members. We always look forward to learning and socialising at our monthly meetings… but we do so much more!  Many of our members take part in additional activities each month such as our book club, craft group and walking group. We arrange monthly visits to places of interest, both locally and further afield, with partners and friends welcome to join us too! We organise a bi-annual Christmas Tree Festival to raise money for local charities, and in November each year we display over 3,000 knitted and crocheted poppies on the wall of the village church – a wonderful spectacle when people drive through Hartlebury. To celebrate our centenary of in 2021 we planted ten WI Inspiration roses at Hartlebury Castle, and also displayed our own sign around the village.
