WHO WE ARE

Kempsey WI is a friendly and welcoming group of around 30 local women. Our convenient afternoon meetings are held in the accessible village Youth Centre.​

WHAT WE LOVE

Kempsey WI meetings are not too formal, featuring a mixture of interesting expert talks interspersed with craft sessions, musical entertainment and shared-food social gatherings.  In the summer we like to have a garden outing. 

Our speaker programme mixes history and geography, art and artistes with health topics and social causes. We love having time to chat with visitors and members old and new over tea and biscuits. We hold regular raffles and stalls at meetings to support our WI; in addition we relish choosing a local 'charity of the year' on which to concentrate our fundraising efforts. During the year, our members can enjoy regular 'ladies that lunch' socials, and other trips. We love to join in with village community events and whenever possible support National WI campaigns by raising awareness locally often with a photoshoot!
