WHO WE ARE
Leigh & Bransford WI is a very friendly, lively, go-ahead and sociable group of local ladies of all ages and backgrounds, bringing together lots of experiences and ideas.

WHAT WE LOVE
We are delighted to celebrate 90 years of Leigh & Bransford WI in 2025! Part of that success is down to our lovely committee, which listens to our interests to arrange activities that appeal to a variety of tastes. At the heart of our programme are monthly meetings in our excellent village hall, where we come together to enjoy a diverse range of talks, demonstrations and activities. These have recently ranged from local history topics and Morris dancing to fun craft evenings and even our very own version of Desert Island Discs... not to mention our Christmas Party, serenaded by our talented local Rock Choir. Leigh & Bransford WI also has a popular book club and embroidery/craft club, each meeting on a fortnightly basis. As a member you can also join us for occasional meals out and relaxing coffee mornings.

WHY JOIN US
At Leigh & Bransford WI there is something interesting to take part in every month, and in between. So much so, that some members have belonged to our WI for over 35 years! We do hope you’ll become part of our exciting future.

WHO WE ARE
In a nutshell, Poolbrook WI is very much about ‘good food, good company and good times!’ We’re a medium-sized, lively group in Malvern offering a choice of afternoon or evening meeting times – and always keen to meet new members.

WHAT WE LOVE
From meetings, talks and special sub-groups to outings, lunches and community support, Poolbrook WI members enjoy a wide-ranging programme of activities. Recent talks have included professional Power of Attorney advice, health advice and fire safety. On the more creative side, we have enjoyed flower arranging, Dorset button-making and beading, and making rag wreaths for St Richard’s Hospice to sell at the Malvern Autumn Show. We’ve met up for walks around the local area, gone out for lunch together and tried our hands at New Age Kurling. We are always open to suggestions for new special interest groups and love to learn new skills. Many of us are also interested in visiting historical houses and gardens, such as our recent visit to the Bromesberrow Estate for a talk and tour delivered by the owner, author Dr Gilbert Greenall.

WHY JOIN US
At Poolbrook WI you can choose the meeting session that best suits you – each with its own activity programme. We all have great fun, so do come along!
