WHO WE ARE
Welcome to dynamic, lively and interesting Pebworth and District WI! Despite being a small village we have around 40 members, from loyal, long-standing ones to new, younger members.​
​
WHAT WE LOVE
As well as the friendship, support and fun which our members share year-round, there’s so much more to be gained. We all enjoy our monthly meetings, where we welcome speakers on a wide variety of topics. We have several reading groups, a knit and natter group and a skittles team, we go on regular theatre trips and outings, and there are chances to learn new skills and crafts. As part of the UK’s largest women’s organisation, we welcome the opportunity to campaign on important issues of the day. We take an active role in Pebworth community events and support several charities, whether it be collecting for a local food bank or helping the Kori Project, a charity which empowers vulnerable women and girls in Sierra Leone (in fact last year we collected over 1,000 bras in support of this charity!) We also love meeting up with other Worcestershire WI members at county events, matches and quizzes whenever we can!​

WHO WE ARE
Wickhamford WI is a friendly, welcoming and active group, with meeting times that always suit those who prefer to meet or travel in daylight!​

WHAT WE LOVE
Here at Wickhamford WI we are proud to have a heritage of more than 70 years at the heart of our small village. Although a smaller group than some WIs, we have a solid membership and plenty to offer all ages and interests. At our monthly meetings we enjoy a variety of speakers and demonstrations on a huge selection of topics. We regularly support our local community too, including providing delicious refreshments for a number of charity events. Summer afternoons will see us out and about enjoying local gardens open to the public or National Trust properties, always finishing with the proverbial tea and cake! Our monthly lunch club is a regular must, and our Christmas Party is always a big hit with the other WIs within our Evesham Vale group. We’ve also recently participated in regional group meetings, a carol concert, skittle tournaments, pétanque and the ever popular group quiz – to name but a few.​
