WHO WE ARE
Pinvin Poppies WI is a relatively new, super-friendly WI founded 2022, with just over 30 members. We pride ourselves on the warm welcome we give visitors.

WHAT WE LOVE
Our meetings are a great opportunity to come together, catch up and learn something new! We’ve enjoyed talks about topics including astronomy, the history of tennis, gardening for pollinators and the art of crime fiction writing. We like to get out and about, recently enjoying a guided tour of Evesham, a treasure map of Pershore and meeting up for convivial meals out in local restaurants. We also enjoy practical sessions and have tried our hand at line dancing, new age kurling, decoupage and wreath-making. Those with particular interests have a book club, craft club, garden club, wine tasting club and brand new supper club to choose from. We’re also very active in our community, such as holding two Christmas fayres, a lovely summer tea party to raise funds for the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven, and running stalls at our local school fayres.

WHO WE ARE
Wyre Piddle WI is a mid-sized, very active group meeting up for friendship and creativity. We hope you can join us!

WHAT WE LOVE
Thriving Wyre Piddle WI currently has 34 members hailing from in and around Wyre Piddle, near Pershore. We welcome everyone with open arms and pride ourselves on having such an eclectic group of women who have created wonderful friendships across our impressive age range! With so many interests between us, there is always something to enjoy. We invite a varied programme of expert speakers to our meetings, some of whom are members. We organise regular outings and cinema visits. Our popular sub-groups range from crafting and walking to reading and playing board games… and we are always open to new interests. We also engage in local community life, such as the village fête and St Anne’s Church events. We even have a group that tests water quality on the Avon. Highlights of our past year have been our annual garden party… closely followed by gin-tasting!
