WHO WE ARE
Rubery WI, which started in 1933, is a small, friendly WI of all ages, ranging from 20s to 80+. We all enjoy each other's company, with an activity programme that’s based around fun, friendship and support for members.

WHAT WE LOVE
The varied and diverse experience at Rubery WI is hard to define, as there really is something for everyone! Our lovely, friendly group of ladies enjoys every aspect of the meetings, outings, and new experiences we have together. At each of our monthly meetings we’re entertained by an expert speaker or demonstrator… followed by our legendary tea, biscuits and sometimes homemade scones. We’ve recently heard interesting talks from a local author, a beekeeper and a holistic therapist; taken part in laughter yoga and crafting sessions; and watched a sourdough masterclass! Anyone who would like to explore particular hobbies can join our thriving book club, dining club or craft group. Plus we arrange regular external outings and visits to fascinating locations across the region. We’re also well-known for our local church poppy installations and annual ‘yarnbomb’ – placing our fun knitted or crocheted creations on post boxes around our area!

WHY JOIN US
