WHO WE ARE

Spartans WI in Droitwich was formed in 2022 in response to local demand for a convenient, morning WI – and our sociable, welcoming group is going from strength to strength!

WHAT WE LOVE

As a member of Spartans WI you’ll be part of a friendly, interesting group of 30 women, with a wide range of activities to enjoy all year round. Our committee organises a year-round programme of expert speakers at our monthly meetings, covering topics to suit everyone. For those with a special interest or hobby we also have seven, popular sub-groups, each run by one of our members. Choose from our theatre, knit & natter, craft and walk & talk groups, as well as regular coffee & chat sessions, games mornings and ‘ladies who lunch’ outings.

WHY JOIN US

As a morning group, Spartans WI is ideal for women with evening commitments or who just prefer to meet in the daytime. Please come along – you will receive a very warm welcome!

WHO WE ARE

Welcome to Witton WI. We’re a traditional, mid-sized WI group formed in 1965, with lots to offer the women of Droitwich and surrounds.

WHAT WE LOVE

A key part of Witton WI life are our monthly meetings, where we gather to socialise and hear interesting speakers covering a wide variety of informative topics… or sometimes ring the changes with a quiz and fun night. We also enjoy getting out and about, organising several outings for our members each year. Recent experiences have included walking some wonderfully woolly alpacas, and visiting a colourful tulip festival at a local open garden. Many of our events involve tea and cake, and in December we celebrate with a special Christmas lunch. We also enjoy regular coffee mornings in and around Droitwich and have a thriving book club. When possible, we attend events organised by the Worcestershire Federation of WIs and send representatives the National Annual WI Meetings. We’re also proud to support the local foodbank, women’s refuge and the Worcester Breast Care Haven Unit through initiatives such as bra collections.

WHY JOIN US

You’ll find that Witton WI is a friendly, vibrant group of ladies who like to laugh and have fun.  Please do come along, we’d love to meet you!
